Cybersecurity Certification
The Employee Benefit Plan Cybersecurity Working Group, an industry task force, developed an extensive
set of criteria for conforming to sub-regulatory guidance issued by the Employee Benefits Security Administration (“EBSA”), the enforcement division of the U.S. Department of Labor. Using those criteria as an assessment framework, Roland|Criss conducts certification reviews for plan sponsors that helps them confirm their alignment with the EBSA’s guidelines.
Our cybersecurity assessments embrace the sponsor’s internal technology approach, the oversight methods used by the plan’s fiduciaries, and the cybersecurity readiness of the plan’s vendors.
